With over 10 educators on my mother's side of the family, I followed in the family legacy and became an elementary school teacher. I am certified through the state of Florida to teach Birth through Grade 6. When I became a first-time mom, I realized there was a need in my community for quality, low ratio early education! That's where Little Dreamers was born! I am passionate about every aspect of childcare, the quality of day-to-day environments and interactions, as well as teacher mental health and higher education opportunities. My certifications include a National Administrator Credential through the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation. I cannot wait to personally welcome you into our LDP family!

As a person who has always had a love for learning and teaching, I started my journey in Early Child Education in 2014 as a teacher’s assistant in a three-year-old classroom. Through my experiences there, I was committed to having my own classroom one day! I went on to graduate from Florida Gulf Coast University, with a Bachelors in Elementary Education, obtaining my certification in Florida to teach Birth through Grade 6. I worked as an elementary teacher for a couple of years, then after having my son, I soon realized early childhood is where my heart was at! I began teaching VPK at Little Dreamers in 2022, with a goal to create a classroom environment that is stimulating, encouraging and adaptive to the varied needs of my students. I have a National Administrator Credential through the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation, and I looking forward to serving your family and little one!

Our Teachers
Our teachers are all certified to teach in our program through the Department of Children and Families and hold active CPR and First Aid credentials. All of our lead teachers have a CDA or higher certification. We are passionate about providing on-going, annual training on Conscious Discipline methods, developmentally appropriate practices, classroom management, early literacy, and fine and gross motor skill development. We enjoy providing our staff a healthy, growth minded environment, where we believe that happy teachers create happy classrooms!
